I was fortunate to be very kindly given this specimen of the rare Yellow Form of Telopea truncata, the Tasmanian Waratah. It had been discovered in the south west wilderness and then cultivated by a member of the Australian Plants Society, Tasmania. Very few people have seen this plant, let alone seen it flowering in its natural habitat.
My observations were that it seemed to be more heavily nectar laden, and that the leaves were a much richer, darker green than the more familiar red-flowered form.
