Peter Dombrovskis - Cushion Plants

Cushion Plants, Southwest National Park

Ancient King Billy pines, growing to over a thousand years old, rise into the mist above a wonderful spreading colony of cushion plants. This extraordinary landscape, thankfully remote and rarely visited, is extremely vulnerable to the direct human impacts of trampling and far more seriously to climate change induced wildfires. Wildfires in 2019 burnt to within a few kilometres of this mountain ridge.

Printed with pigment ink on Canson Platine Fibre Rag, 100% Cotton Rag archival paper.
Remastered by fine art printer, Simon Olding, exclusively for Wild Island Tasmania.

Please note; Prints are made to order. Please allow 10-15 business days for your delivery.
