Chris Bell is a photographer living in Hobart, Tasmania. He is a passionate naturalist deeply committed to the preservation of Nature an in particular, the Earth's wilderness. He was a founding member of both The Wilderness Society and the Tasmanian National Parks Association, both of which are committed to saving areas of high conservation value that still remain unprotected and vulnerable.
"It is crucial we re-establish our bonds with the natural world if there is to be any future for humanity' he insists. The Tarkine is his fifth book.
