Jaclyn Poke is a painter, teacher and art therapist who lives on the NW coast of Tasmania. She creates Abstract Impressionist seascapes of local scenery, building layers of memory into her work,so that texture and pattern narrate the history of a place. Jaclyn has had various group and solo shows around Tasmania, Brisbane and Melbourne, and is continuing to build her arts practice through connecting and developing stories of this island’s rugged landscape.
