Ella Michele lives and works in nipaluna, lutruwita. Working primarily in gouache and oils she creates immersive landscapes inspired by natural environments, personal mythology, literature and history. Using a free-form, process-led approach, each painting emerges in real time, as imagined worlds take shape. Each unique work explores the space between the tangible and the elusive, where the earthly and the enigmatic intertwine.
