On the way to Adventure Bay on south Bruny Island, Two Tree Point is a very popular rest stop and picnic spot. It is here that Resolution Creek runs into the ocean, across sand that is white and soft and squeaks underfoot.
Captain Cook collected fresh water here in 1777 and Captain Bligh did the same in 1788. It is generally believed that the two trees on the point today, date from that time.
Furthermore, there is also a lovely view from Two Tree Point across to the beautiful and popular Fluted Cape and Penguin Island.

Sylvie Gerozisis is a Tasmanian Botanical Artist, whose work also extends to Tasmanian wildlife subjects and landscapes.
