About the Artist
Trish Verdouw is a contemporary artist who uses printmaking, drawing and installation to explore the vulnerability and fragility of human life, and the connectedness and balance of place within the environment. In essence her work reflects life.
Her art practice is inspired by both the natural environment, in particular her engagement and immersion to place through walking and her interest in the fragility of the body exploring narratives that engage with trauma and memory.
Trish completed a BFA in Printmaking 2011, an MFAD in 2013 in Drawing and BFA Honours in Drawing 2018 at the University of Tasmania School of Art.
