Olivia Hickey
Olivia Hickey is a site-specific artist and being immersed in place is essential to developing and creating her art. She collects imprints and makes moulds for her work in the wild places, leaving the land mostly undisturbed. She has evolved into a multimedia artist in response to trying to communicate and highlight the complexity of the wild places. Her work is influenced by the concepts of sculpture, land art, wilderness photography, environmental education, conservation and the discourse in contemporary jewellery.
