pod & pod is the moniker under which Australian artist Julie Hickson produces paintings on canvas and archival prints.
When exploring her graphic and sometimes abstract technique, Julie realised that there was no better subject than Australian botanicals for their incredible beauty and diversity of colour and form.
She hopes her artwork will inspire a greater knowledge of our indigenous flora and in turn, encourage us to plant natives and protect habitats across Australia.
