Passionate for the natural environment, Ruth donates $2 from each necklace sold to the Environmental Defenders Office (EDO). EDO is the largest environmental legal centre in the Australia-Pacific, dedicated to protecting our climate, communities and the shared environment by providing access to justice, running ground breaking litigation and leading law reform advocacy.
Ruth began her creative journey at university, where she completed a double degree in jewellery design and business studies. She launched her business, Ruth Evenhuis Designs, selling jewellery online from the shed in her share house. She then moved back home to Tasmania to continue the business, adding more designs to to the collection and branching out into illustration.
