Print your own Waratah with artist Catherine Arsaut
Date and time
Sat., 7 August 2021
10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Catherine will be in-store working on a lino-cut featuring a local migratory shorebird as part of exhibition: The Over Wintering Project. There will also be a "print your own" activity throughout the day, using her stunning Waratah block on Japanese Kitakata paper. The exceptionally beautiful paper features lovely fibres and a nice warm colour. One of the features of this paper is that as you burnish it, the design slowly shows though the paper, making the process all very magical for the person printing it. Catherine will also supply custom folders for holding the fresh print without smudging the ink.
Be part of this magical process and create your very own unique work. Come between the hours of 9am- 3pm to print your work and witness the artist at work.
