WILD MINDS: Exploring ideas and visions for Tasmania
Wild Island presents Wild Minds - a series of cutting edge presentations and conversations that explore Country, nature, wildness and people. The discussions will come from a range of perspectives – Indigenous, activist, philosophical, scientific, artistic, literary, political and spiritual.
The Wild Minds series stands in the context of unprecedented habitat loss, global pollution and climate crises that threaten the natural, cultural and social integrity of Tasmania and the planet. The intent of Wild Minds is to work from our current reality to explore ideas and visions for Tasmania and to move towards effective action for the Earth.
The Wild Minds Series will be held on periodic Wednesday evenings from July to November 2019, 7:30 until 9:00pm at Wild Island, Shop 8, 33 Salamanca Place Hobart.
All are welcome - questions and discussion will be an integral part of each presentation.
